Irving Berlin's White Christmas

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will be directed by Toni Schlemmer. Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, August 23 from 3 to 5 pm and Tuesday, August 25 from 7 to 9 pm on the main stage.

Interested performers should be prepared to sing 32 bars of their favorite upbeat Christmas song and bring sheet music along for the accompanist. The audition will also include dancing (bring appropriate footwear) and a cold read from the script for anyone who is interested in a principal role. The cast includes children and adults.

Betty Haynes- Adult Female Lead Dancer; Voice Range: Mezzo-Soprano; High Note: F5 and Low Note: A3
Judy Haynes-Adult Female; Lead Dancer; Voice Range: Alto; High Note: E5 and Low Note: G3 (Belting)
General Henry Waverly- non-singing supporting role; Mature Adult Male; No dancing
Martha Watson- Mature Adult; Female Supporting Role; Mover; Voice Range: Alto High Note: D5- and Low Note: G3
Susan Waverly- Female Child- age 10 +; Supporting role Mover
Ralph Sheldrake-Adult Male; Supporting role Mover; Tenor/Baritone, Bass

Ensemble- Children (ages 10 or more) and adults who can sing and dance are needed in all voice ranges

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will be presented at 7:30 pm December 4, 5, 11 and 12 and at 2:30 pm on December 6 and 13 on ACTS Main Stage.
